As well a collecting and curating these wonderful signs, we also provide a range of advice and support to help make communication through signage the as effective as it can be. It's really mostly common sense, certainly when it's all distilled, but sometimes it can simply help to approach things with a fresh, external and independent eye, drawing on experience and a structured approach.
Inspiration. To a large extent, most signage situations are unique. Have a look through the many signs captured here for some inspiration of what might, or might not work, in your specific context.
Top Ten Tips. Have a look at our Top Ten Tips, these might be helpful to test a current situation or sign a new one. They can help provide some reassurance that things are good, or in some areas there might be some work to do.
Our Planning Advice. At the planing stage, some early consideration of signage can make things flow and engage really well, and can even help design out the need or emphasis on signage.
Our Independent Audit. Already set up and working, in which case our independent audit can provide a rounded but specific review of the effectiveness of the signage. We can do this in various ways, which can range from a walk through test together, through to a full mystery shopper review.
